A well attended End of Season Presentation event in the Social Club saw Anthony Stephens claim three of the awards on offer. He collected the Chairman’s Player of the Season, the Committee Player of the Season and the Players’ Player of the Season awards.
The Supporters’ Player of the Season based on our online vote went to Harry Owen, who spent the season on loan at Flint from neighbours Connah’s Quay. He also collected the Kevin Loftus trophy for Young Player of the Season.
Finally, Bobby Beaumont-Broadhead was awarded Manager’s Player of the Year.
Sadly, there was no award for most stylish dresser of the season, but had there been, Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro would have been a comfortable winner !
Congratulations to all of the award winners, and the club would also like to place on record our thanks to all of the players for their efforts over the course of the season. Lee and Iwan reaffirmed their commitment to the club and will now focus on planning for next season as they look to plot a course back to the Cymru Premier following the disappointment of relegation on the final day of the campaign.
