At last night’s AGM, Andy Hughes, Managing Director of local business DTD, was unanimously appointed to become a Vice President of the club. Through his company, Andy provided significant sponsorship which allowed us to install the 3G pitch at the ground, and without his contribution the project would not have been able to go ahead.
FTU Chairman Darryl Williams, in proposing the appointment, described Andy’s contribution as being a lasting legacy to the club, and fundamental to it’s success.
For his part, Andy expressed his delight in being offered the role, saying he was honoured at the recognition, and he also praised the work of the volunteers and all associated with the club for playing their part in its continued growth and development.
Welcome aboard Andy, it’s great to have you as part of the Flint Town United family.
