We are pleased to welcome Ben Wynne to the Essity Stadium, as Lee Fowler adds another player to his squad ahead of the transfer day deadline.
Ben, a highly rated midfielder, joins us on an 18 month deal from Caernarfon, for whom he made 18 appearances this season. And his arrival is timely, as skipper, and fellow midfielder, Jay Owen is about to start a three games through suspension following his sending off last Saturday. Ben will be a valuable asset in the middle of the park, as he is an excellent tackler and ball winner in that vital area, and can also make forward runs in the attacking third.
Manager Lee Fowler had this to say of his latest signing :
“It’s a great pleasure that we have agreed a deal with Ben. He is someone that I’ve wanted to sign for a very long time. He is great technically and can travel well with the ball and has good energy. He can play in many positions. I want him to enjoy his football again, focusing on a role we both feel will be beneficial for himself and also for the team. I’m looking forward to working with him. “
