We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Williams, to the FTU Board. Ed, son of our chairman, Darryl, is a passionate follower of the Silkmen (sometimes a bit too passionate !) both home and away and his enthusiasm and dedication will be a welcome addition to the current board, as he is bound to bring with him some fresh ideas and a different outlook on certain things.
In welcoming his son onboard, Darryl Williams had this to say, “Obviously as his dad I’m very proud that Ed is following in my footsteps in joining the FTU Board. He has been coming to Flint games since he was 4 years old, and he loves the club, as supporters can often hear at the game. And his appointment will also bring down the average age of our Board members considerably !”
