One of our rising Academy stars, Harry Cartwright, has gone out on loan to Cymru North side, Llay Welfare, until the end of the season. Harry, who has been captain of our U19’s, has also been a regular member of the 1st team squad, making seven appearances from the bench.
Flint manager Lee Fowler had this to say, “Harry is someone who has a very bright future at Flint, and is very much a long term part of what we are trying to achieve. His next step is to bridge the gap between being a stand out player in the Development side to becoming a regular in our senior side. Going out on loan to Llay will give Harry the experience he needs of playing senior football, week in week out”
