After 2 years as being the Sports Therapist for the 1st team, Sophie Dutton is moving on due to other commitments. Sophie joined at the beginning of Lee Fowler’s second season, having newly qualified from the University of Derby with a 1st class Honours degree in Therapy and Rehabilitation. She quickly became an integral part of the backroom staff, and her easy going, good natured personality made her a natural fit as part of the team.
After announcing her decision to leave, Sophie had the following words to say, ” I’m really thankful for my time at Flint Town United Football Club – a club full of great people. It’s been an honour working at the club and I will be forever grateful for the support and opportunities. I’ve loved being part of it and seeing the growth in the team since I joined in 2023. Wishing the club continued success and growth. A massive thank you to the staff for being such a solid team to work with, and to the players for their commitment week in, week out. It’s been great to work alongside you all”
On behalf of Flint Town United, I would like to say a big thank you to Sophie for all she has done over the past couple of seasons, and wish her every success in the future. And we hope that she will be able to pop down and pay us a visit every now and then. Thanks Sophie and pob lwc.
We are currently advertising for the position of Sports Therapist/Physio to replace Sophie. Anyone interested who possesses the relevant qualifications should email makhan@flinttownunited.co.uk with their relevant details.
