We are pleased to announce two more signings as Lee Fowler continues to reshape his squad ahead of the new season.
First, we welcome back Jake Phillips to the Essity. Having played at Flint for a season under Neil Gibson, Jake joined Airbus for the last campaign, but the right back has now rejoined the Silkmen for a second stint. During his first spell at Flint, Jake won a Wales ‘C’ international cap, bring part of the squad that beat England at Caernarfon.
Second, we are delighted to welcome Joshua Jones, a right sided forward with a keen eye for goal. Joshua joins from Ruthin Town, for whom he excelled last season.
Before flying off on holiday, Fowler teased another big signing, when he told us he had finally landed his top target after chasing him for 12 months. For the moment he is remaining tight lipped about the identity of the player, but all will be revealed in due course ….
