Josh Jones, who formed a prolific strike partnership up front with Elliott Reeves, is also staying on at the Essity Stadium next season, news that will surely delight all Silkmen fans.
Josh moved from Ruthin at the beginning of the last campaign.
Lee Fowler said of Josh, “Initially, when he came in, he had to be patient and learn how we did things, but it was soon evident that his and Reeves’ pace would be key to our success, and a 27 goal return was his reward for working hard and believing in what the coaching staff were saying. “
“All of the players we’ve announced this evening know the step up from tier 2 to tier 1 will be tough, but they have all applied themselves and earned the opportunity to be there, and so I’m pleased they have got their chance. I’m a firm believer in trust and loyalty, and it works both ways, and when they show it to me, I will do my best to repay them”
