“Tonight’s game sees us revisit Colwyn Bay whom we played in a friendly a couple of weeks back.. We were at their first league game versus Llandudno and we know we shall be in for a tough match this evening. But we believe we have got the team into a good place, with some massive strides having been made in the last two weeks and we are now beginning to see the fruition of all the hard work in training and the benefits of our recruitment policy.
Tonight’s game will be our last chance to build some momentum before our live televised league opener at Pontypridd next Saturday, which we are all looking forward to.
I’m happy with the squad we have assembled in the time that was open to us, but there may be still one or two additions to make before the window closes. Unfortunately, the registration process is proving to be a very slow one, as we have to wait for international clearances to come through, and so we shall be without some of our new signings tonight, but we hope to get them through in readiness for Saturday.
