We are pleased to announce that Isaac Lee has signed an 18 month deal with the club. Isaac initially joined pre-season on loan from Radcliffe Borough, and now that deal has been made permanent. The young defender has certainly proved a big hit with Flint supporters since joining, and they will no doubt be delighted that he agreed to commit to the club for the foreseeable future. Manager Lee Fowler had this to say about the deal, “I would like to thank the Chairman and the Board for helping us bring Isaac to the club on an 18 month deal. We feel we have recruited a very talented player, and it’s now up to us to help him unlock his full potential”
We are also welcoming back former Silkman, Okera Simmonds. Okera played for us the last time we were in the Cymru Premier, returning after 18 months away. Fowler commented, “We want Okera to find that form and drive he had during his previous spell with us, prior to him getting injured in the game at Airbus. We have seen what he can do, and what he can bring to the team, but we need him to regain his match sharpness, and he will give us more attacking threat and options in the second half of the season”
Fowler added he may be looking to bring one or two more players in, but stressed that they need to be ones that will complement the squad he already has, and who buy into the ethos of the club, and he won’t be pressured into recruiting new players just for the sake of it.
