We welcome Luis Lacey, younger brother of Paddy, to the Essity Stadium as our latest signing. Luis, a defender, joins on loan from Tranmere Rovers. He was also previously with Barnsley U18’s.
On welcoming Luis, Flint manager Lee Fowler had this to say : “It was a rare opportunity to be able to unite both Luis and Paddy at the same club to play their football. This should prove to be a great experience for Luis to cut his teeth playing regular, senior, football and show us what he can do, as well as playing alongside his more experienced brother. “
There is also another footballing Lacey brother, Shea, who is on Manchester United’s books. With tongue firmly in cheek, Fowler added, “We were keen on reuniting all three brothers here at Flint, but unfortunately Ten Hag was having none of it !!”
