Match Preview : Flint v Cardiff Met 29/01/22

By Nigel Sheen
On Saturday we play our final home game of phase 1, when we welcome Cardiff Met to the Essity (kick off 2-30pm).
Our visitors are currently in a good run of form, unbeaten in their last five matches and haven’t conceded a goal in their last 3 games.
Flint will welcome back skipper Alex Jones and defender Kai Edwards into the squad, after they missed Tuesday night’s game through suspension. Michael Wilde, however, still has to sit this one out, as he completes the final game of his suspension.
Neil Gibson knows that a win would go a long way to securing that coveted top 6 finish, as he prepares his team for this game.
In their meeting in the capital on the opening day of the season, Flint emerged as 5-1 winners, although a much closer contest is expected tomorrow.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the ticketing section of the website.
