Following on from last week’s first win in Phase 2, Neil Gibson’s side will be looking to add more points to their tally when they visit Latham Park, home of Newtown, in tomorrow’s early kick off. But the Robins will represent a stern test, having themselves won at champions TNS last Friday evening.
They also recorded a 2-0 win over ourselves in our Phase 1 meeting at Latham Park, a game which saw Flint’s talisman Michael Wilde receive a straight red card, and Danny Harrison sustain a serious injury that has kept him on the sidelines ever since. So, we shall be hoping for some better fortune this time around.
Conor Harwood will be missing for the Silkmen as he serves a one game suspension.
