We are pleased to welcome experienced midfielder Paddy Lacey to the Essity Stadium. Paddy has made the move from Warrington Rylands. Unfortunately, he was unable to be included within the match day squad for the opening game of the season as his transfer was awaiting international clearance, which has now been received. He has also played for Chester, Stalybridge Celtic and Southport amongst others. As well as being a semi-pro footballer, Paddy is also a pro boxer.
Manager Lee Fowler had this to say about his latest signing : “We are delighted to bring in someone of Paddy’s calibre, who will hopefully be playing alongside his younger brother for us. He will be a massive asset to this football club, both on and off the pitch, and he shows the right sort of attitude, which is what both our young kids and older pros should aspire to”
