Giddo’s Gift, is a Flint based charity, which was set up 5 years ago, in memory of local teenager, Jordan Giddins, who lost his life to Ewings Sarcoma at the age of 18. Giddo’s Gift aims to improve the lives of children and young people & their families who are suffering from cancer.
On Wednesday 28th June 2023 it should be Jordan’s 25th birthday.
The charity have decided to ‘Go Blue for Jord’ on Friday 23rd June 2023 and are asking local schools, shops, businesses, offices & people to join in with them. Here at Flint Town United we fully endorse the cause and would urge all of our supporters and followers to become involved.
Jord’s favourite colour was blue; as he was a huge Manchester City fan so the charity are asking people around the local area to wear something blue to remember Jordan and donate £1 so it can continue helping others, like Jordan, who are fighting the biggest battle of their young lives.
