Preview : Bala Town v Flint, 11/03/22

By Nigel Sheen
Tomorrow we face 2nd placed Bala Town, knowing that a win would see us leapfrog over the Lakesiders in the table. However, it has to be said that Maes Tegid has not been a very happy hunting ground for us recently as we have been soundly beaten on our last two visits, 5-0 last season and 3-1 in our Phase 1 encounter earlier this season. In fact, Bala did the double over us in phase 1, also securing a narrow 2-1 win at the Essity.
So, we know that we are likely to be in for a tough game, but we will be heartened by our performance last week against TNS, and if we can produce something similar again then we shall surely run our hosts extremely close.
We will welcome back Ben Maher into the squad, following the serving of his one game ban.
Kick off is 7-45pm and Twitter updates will be provided throughout the game.
