It’s a Welsh Cup weekender for the Silkmen as we enter the premier cup competition for domestic Welsh football at the second round stage.
We travel to fellow JD Cymru North club, Denbigh Town for the match, which will have to be decided on the day.
Manager Lee Fowler has several injury worries to contend with as he prepares for the game. Jake Phillips suffered a badly gashed knee last weekend and is rated highly doubtful, whilst Elliott Reeves is also struggling for full fitness and Paddy Lacey is yet another doubt.
This will be the second time we have faced Denbigh this season, having met them at the Essity on the opening day of the season, when goals from Reeves and Harley Peagram gave Flint a 2-1 win.
Hopefully a good contingent of Flint supporters will make the trip to Central Park to cheer on the lads tomorrow, as we take our bow in this season’s Welsh Cup. Kick Off is 2pm.
