In our final match before the World Cup kicks off, Flint have a huge game against Newtown. With both sides in the bottom half of the table and just 1 point separating us, the 3 points on offer could really make a big difference to whoever can lay claim to them.
In our first meeting earlier in the season, we came away with a 2-0 victory, after a very controlled performance. On that night, we displayed a clinical touch in front of goal, something that’s been lacking of late, and which Lee Fowler will be looking for his side to restore to their game as we try and escape from the bottom six. Newtown, meanwhile, possess plenty of quality in their ranks, and after a spluttering start are now showing real signs of improvement, so will no doubt represent tough opposition.
