    Player Biography

Alec is a former Zimbabwean international who can play either in defence or midfield. He was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and moved to the UK aged five. He played youth football for Sheffield Wednesday and Stalybridge Celtic, joining the latter club in 2011, and making his senior debut in the 2012–13 season. He moved on loan to Radcliffe Borough in January 2015, and later played for Northwich Victoria and Stockport Town, before entering the Welsh League system and joining Cefn Druids in 2017. In January 2020, Alec joined Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol, spending a year there before moving to Turkish side Ankaraspor in January 2021. He also had a spell with Georgian club Torpedo Kutaisi before returning to England and joining Altrincham in February 2022. As a free agent, Alec joined Flint initially in March 2023 for the final month of that season, but was unable to prevent the Silkmen being relegated from the Cymru Premier. As we return to tier 1 after a season out of it, Alec also returns to the club, having moved to Tunisia with Olympique Beja, for a spell last season.
