A left sided defender who possesses plenty of Cymru Premier league experience, “Stevo” previously played for Bala Town, having two spells with the Lakesiders, that spanned a six year period. His committed playing style, and excellent dead ball strikes quickly made him a favourite with Flint fans and he picked up several Player of the Season awards – Committee Player, Chairman’s Player and Players’ Player. He initially came through Wrexham’s youth ranks before going on to play for both Prestatyn and Colwyn Bay, before joining Bala for his first spell in 2015. A three-year stint with the club would came to an end in an unfortunate manner following an ACL injury but having made a successful recovery he rejoined the Lakesiders almost six months later. Whilst with Bala, Anthony won the Welsh Cup putting in a standout performance in the final, and he also played in their first progression in European competition featuring in the team that overcame Valletta in the Europa League first qualifying round in 2020.
