We are pleased to announce the signing of Ryley Oakley, an exciting young talent who joins from TNS.Ryley was with Shrewsbury for 6 years, playing for their U10’s to U16’s, before moving to TNS on a two year scholarship. He was offered a pro-contract for last season with the Saints, and made his first senior appearance in a cup match against Guilsfield.
He then went out on loan to Market Drayton to get some game time, and gain some valuable experience of senior football.
Ryley’s preferred position is midfield/number 10 role, and his versatility is a big asset. He told the website that he believes the facilities at Flint are excellent and the playing surface will really suit his game, adding that he’s excited at the prospect of playing in the Cymru Premier for a newly promoted team.
Ryley is sure to bring some more attacking flair to the side as he loves taking the fight to the opposition and driving forward with the ball at his feet.
We can’t wait to see Ryley in action and wish him all the best as he embarks on his first full season with us.
