Preparatory work got underway this week, ready for the installation of our new 3G pitch, as the bulldozers turned up at the Essity Stadium to rip up the existing grass pitch.
The installation process, carried out by PST Sport, will take about 2 months to complete.
Once complete, club chairman Darryl Williams believes that Flint will boast the finest pitch in the Cymru Premier, having visited a previous installation by the company and being bowled over by what he saw.
