Jack Kenny has left Flint to join Ashton United in the National League North. Kenny made 23 appearances for the Silkmen last term, scoring 15 times, until his season was brought to a premature end when he dislocated his shoulder in a game against Connah’s Quay Nomads. His partnership with Michael Wilde up front was one of he main reasons that Flint enjoyed a terrific start to the league campaign, and he quickly established himself as a firm favourite with supporters.
We would like to wish Jack all the very best in this next stage of his career.
In other news, one of Neil Gibson’s backroom staff, coach Steve Giblin has also announced his departure. Once again the club would like to wish Steve the best of luck in his future endeavours.
