Local rivalry resumes this Friday evening (kick off 7-45pm) when we face Connah’s Quay Nomads at the Deeside Stadium in our return league encounter.
The first game ended 1-1 following Callum Bratley’s dramatic stoppage time leveller. Both sides will be keen to add a further 3 points to their league tally, and a no quarter given contest is keenly anticipated. Whilst we have already secured a top 6 finish, manager Neil Gibson will be keen for his side to keep pursuing the second spot in the table, whilst Craig Harrison knows he still has work to do if he is to steer his Nomads side into the top 6. Michael Wilde has now completed his suspension and so will be available to face his former club.
Let’s make sure there is a good turn out from the Flint contingent and they really get behind the team as they face off against their old rivals and neighbours.
