A 2-2 home draw against Cardiff Met was good enough to earn the point that guaranteed Flint a top half finish in the JD Cymru Premier League for this season, a tremendous achievement by Neil Gibson and his staff.

On Saturday we play our final home game of phase 1, when we welcome Cardiff Met to the Essity (kick off 2-30pm).

Flint’s very own super hero, Callum Bratley, swung into action, deep into stoppage time to net a deserved equaliser for the Silkmen and bring the house down at the Essity Stadium.

It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for, the big Deeside derby between Flint and Connah’s Quay Nomads is finally here (Tuesday evening Kick off 7-45pm)

Neil Gibson has made his first new signings of the transfer window with the arrivals of Sam Duffy and Jack Higgins.

After briefly dropping down to 4th following Friday night’s results, Flint regained third position following today’s excellent 1-0 away win at Barry Town United.

Having suffered two back to back league defeats for the first time this season just before the enforced break, this win at Barry was the perfect tonic for the Silkmen, boosting their hopes of securing a top six finish.

The JD Cymru Premier resumes this weekend and on Saturday we travel to Jenner Park where it will be a battle of the Town United’s when we face Barry.

We can now confirm the dates for our five remaining Phase 1 fixtures.
